TASA / CEFPI Southern Region Facilities Institute In conjunction with the 2008 Midwinter Conference, TASA is pleased to offer the School Facilities Institute, sponsored jointly by TASA and the Council of Educational Facility Planners–Southern Region. The theme for this special institute, Sustainability, Efficiency, and High Performance: Building Schools for the Future, focuses on the myriad issues facing school leaders and facility planners. This institute, coupled with the TASA Midwinter Conference, provides an excellent opportunity to discuss real-life challenges and issues related to the planning, design, building, and maintenance of school facilities. Participants will hear the latest trends in facility planning from leading state and national experts. You may register jointly for the Midwinter Conference and the institute, or the institute alone, which begins at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29. The institute agenda includes a reception and dinner on Tuesday evening, and a luncheon on Wednesday. The institute will conclude at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, January 30.
